The most famous dish of Punjab. This Desi Saag is a vegan kale curry made with nutritious leafy greens. Authentic Punjabi taste. Just simply heat & serve. Medium Spice. Cooking Instructions: Microwave from frozen. Remove lid and heat in the centre of an 800W microwave on full power for 10 minutes. Stir thoroughly every 3 minutes during heating. Check food is piping hot. Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving. For best results, empty contents into a pan after heating in the microwave. Add ghee, butter or vegetable oil and stir well on a medium heat for a further 2 minutes. Stir well and serve. Serving suggestion – Serve with Nurmahal Maize Flour Flatbreads (Makki di Roti). Tip – in a pan sauté some freshly chopped onion, ginger and green chilli (can also add garlic – optional) in some ghee, butter or oil. Then add the defrosted saag, heat and serve.
