Blanched Peanuts. Blanching is a process of boiling something in order to help remove the skin. Blanched peanuts are simply peanuts with the skin removed. The process itself involves putting the nuts in very hot water for about 1 minute, cooling them rapidly then rubbing off the skin to leave a delicious, milky coloured peanut perfect for cooking with.
